Afan Lido Fined and Docked Points

Afan Lido have had three points deducted and fined £100 for fielding an inelligible player against Airbus UK on March 11th, where they won 4-0.

A Welsh Premier League commission met in Llandrindod Wells on Thursday and found Lido guilty of playing Leigh Shrimpton while he was suspended.

Consequently, the punishment sees Lido deeper into relegation trouble, level with second to bottom club Airbus.

An appeal to the FAW may be launched if Lido feel the decision is unfair.
