Carmarthen Town's UEFA Cup second qualifying round home leg has been switched from Thursday week to August 25 - and will be played at Cardiff City's Ninian Park.
Town chairman Jeff Thomas has secured a deal for the Welsh Premier League minnows to face 2004 Danish double winners FC Copenhagen in the capital after coming to agreement with Bluebirds owner Sam Hammam.
It will mean Carmarthen will now head off to Denmark next week to play the first leg.
Carmarthen coach Mark Aizlewood said: "UEFA have deemed that our Richmond Park ground is unsuitable for European competition at this time. That forces us to seek an alternative for home legs.
"Sam has generously offered us Ninian Park but City were struggling to accommodate us for the 11th because it was sandwiched in between Championship matches with Leeds on the Tuesday and Watford three days later.
"But we have agreed a switch with Copenhagen and they are happy to receive us next week with the view of coming to Cardiff on the 25th."
StadCo, the body that run Swansea City's 20,500-capacity New Stadium at the Morfa, had offered to hire Town their arena for £25,000 - a hefty figure for a small team in the Welsh Premier League.
Aizlewood confirmed, "That was the case, but the Swans chairman Huw Jenkins contacted Jeff Thomas and gave a clear indication that Swansea were prepared to be more generous."
However, Town found that Hammam was much more accommodating, and we believe will not ask Carmarthen for a fee to use Ninian Park.
Aizlewood continued: "Because of Sam's kindness the figure is likely to be nearer £1,000 - the cost of stewarding."
