Connah's Quay Nomads 4 - 2 Afan Lido
Last updated : 17 April 2005 By Gary Fish
Afan Lido slipped closer towards relegation after the Port Talbot club went down to a confident Nomads side.
Lido began brightly and a pile-driver from Karl Reynolds put them in front after 36 minutes only for Stuart Rain to level for the home side on the stroke of half time as George Horan flicked on a Dean Tuft free-kick.
Nomads took control of the game in the second half and Horan headed home Chris Williams' free-kick from 12 yards on 73 minutes.
Mark Gunter made it 3-1 ten minutes later before Jamie Holmes added a fourth just minutes later while Chris Piper grabbed a second for Lido at the end of the game but there was no chance of a dramatic comeback from a disheartened side.
