An off-field shortage of volunteers is threatening the running of
The Gwent outfit says it will field a 16-strong playing squad in the Welsh Premier this season, but admits there are serious problems behind the scenes.
Cwmbran treasurer Mike Lewis said: "Matters have come to a head because besides chairman John Colley, there are only two other people, secretary Ian Greaney and myself, who help run the club.
"There are also about half a dozen match-day volunteers, who along with the ball-boys, are invaluable to us at home games.
"But what this club needs is people to come forward to help organise a committee, which would take care of the day-to-day running of the club.
"We need people to organise commercial and fund-raising activities, organise publicity for the club, liaise with local schools and much, much more.

"Cwmbran Town Football Club is one of the leading clubs in the Welsh Premier League, has a well-run academy and a youth team which won the national league last season.
"So I’m appealing to the people of Cwmbran to contact the club to see if you can help.
"Although it would be of great assistance, you need not have any experience or knowledge of how a football club is run.
"We're just looking for honesty, enthusiasm and a keen sense to help you local community football club."
