Drop Disaster for Former Welsh Premier Duo

Two former members of the Welsh Premier have amazingly dropped a further rung down the Welsh football pyramid after relegation from the Cymru Alliance League.

Cemaes Bay and Mold Alexandra are both relegated from the Cymru Alliance, with their likely destinations the Welsh Alliance and Wrexham League respectively.

Coming the other way are Bodedern, champions of the Welsh Alliance, while Queen's Park, won the Wrexham League, and both have had promotion to the Cymru Alliance approved at the League's general meeting in Colwyn Bay.

"It looks like being a straight swap, with two clubs coming in and two going out, to maintain the league's membership strength at 18," says secretary Alun Foulkes.
