Midfielder Adie Harris will not be returning to Welsh Premier side Haverfordwest County.
The former Cardiff City midfielder has also resisted a move to champions TNS and Conference South club Weymouth as he joins former Merthyr Tydfil boss John Relish at Bath City.
He joins former Barry Town and Carmarthen player/manager Andrew York at Twerton Park and Relish believes he will soon be a fans' favourite.
"Adie played for Hornchurch last year, when they had their good side together, after they bought him from Haverfordwest County," Relish said.
"He had the chance to go full-time with a couple of clubs so we're particularly pleased he has decided to join us.
"He might not have been fit to play against Liverpool, but TNS had promised him he would be involved in the tie.
"He got injured last year and had an operation on his cruciate ligament. So I've been waiting until he had the all-clear from Lilleshall before confirming any deal."
Relish is a known long-term admirer of Harris and expects him to make a significant contribution to City's Nationwide South promotion push.
