Lythe Resigns from Airbus

Welsh Premier League basement boys Airbus UK have lost their manager, Rob Lythe, less than a year after he took the Broughton based side into the league.

It is understood that Lythe has taken on a new role within the company, and so with that and the work required in running the club, he has handed in his letter of resignation, which has been accepted by the club.

Both parties are said to be disappointed with the decision, and Lythe - an engineer with Airbus - has been asked to remain with the club in some capacity, something he will spend some time pondering before making a decision.

Lythe joined Airbus in 2001 after giving up his role as youth team coach and reserve team boss at Christleton.
