TNS boss Ken McKenna has secured his first signing of the season snapping up Phil Baker from Bangor City.
The 22-year old is one of the most impressive defender in the Welsh Premier and signed for TNS on Wednesday to give McKenna an increase in defensive options following the arrival of Michael Jackson from Welshpool Town at the end of last season.
Birkenhead-born Baker joined the Farrar Road side in 2003 from Tranmere Rovers, but left after a short time to join then Football League outfit

Baker then had a brief spell with Unibond Leaguers Droyslden, before rejoining City in September 2004, where he made 28 appearances in the Welsh Premier League last season and impressed during Bangor's 1-0 victory over Welsh Premier Champions at Farrar Road.
