Rhyl FC prepared for this week's UEFA Cup clash with FK Atlantas in a recording studio.

The 16-strong first-team squad and assistant manager Neil Young spent their time on Saturday recording their first CD.

The single is due to be released on Thursday when they take on FK Atlantas at Belle Vue.

"Come On Then You Lilywhites" was written by a local group, Station Ten, and the players hopes the song will inspire them to victory over the Lithuanians in the UEFA Cup first leg tie.

The song will be played before the match and is believed to be released as a single after an official launch party.

The single features vocals from top scorer Andy Moran and Gary Powell and was recorded in conjunction with Wicked Records Wales at the band's Kinmel Bay studio.
