Jones' choices are his captain Rhodri Jones however admits it would be hard not to award it to Marc Lloyd-Williams or Steve Evans of double-winning TNS.
Striker Lloyd-Williams and centre-back Steve Evans are highly regarded by all Premier League managers, and Jones said: "Rhodri is an inspirational captain, whose wholehearted performances set him apart from other candidates in our squad.
"He puts his body on the line and make tackles that other players just won't make.
"But Evans has been an absolute colossus for TNS this season. It's not just me - other managers in this league have commented that he should be a Football League player. I think he will be before long."
However, free-scoring Marc Lloyd-Williams have been monumental in TNS winning another Premier League title and Jones admits his goals could give him the edge over his rivals.
Jonea added: "People said he was finished a couple of seasons ago but his scoring record speaks for itself, it's absolutely phenomenal.
"It is without doubt his goals that have been the major factor in their success.
"When you look at the tables no-one came close to him, his poaching instincts would make him a deserved winner."
Despite a decent cup run, which saw them secure a place in the UEFA Cup, Carmarthen had a poor season in the Premier League, and with Lloyd-Williams goals not only winning the league for TNS, but also winning the striker a call up to the Wales Semi-Pro squad for the home nations tournament in Ireland, he's my choice to win the award.
