Welsh Premier League Hit by Weather

Last updated : 19 February 2005 By Gary Fish

Three Welsh Premier League matches have been postponed due to waterlogged pitches as rain falls throughout Wales.

In the south, Carmarthen’s game with league leaders TNS has been postponed until tomorrow as groundsmen try to get the pitch ready.

The weather also affected the north with Connah’s Quay’s game with Newtown and Caersws’ game with Caernarfon also falling to rain soaked pitches. As yet arrangements for these games to be played have not been made.

This followed the postponement yesterday of Bangor City's home match with NEWI Cefn Druids at Farrar Road.
