In Friday night's matches, Bangor City followed their superb mid-week FAW Premier Cup Quarter Final win over English Championship side Cardiff City with a dominant 2-0 home victory over Connah's Quay Nomads at Farrar Road courtesy of goals from Kevin Scott and a Paul Roberts penalty.

Bouncing back from their FAW Premier Cup Quarter Final defeat at home to Wrexham, Haverfordwest piled on more misery for second from bottom Llanelli with a confident second half display earning them a 3-0 win at Stebonheath.

Meanwhile, Aden Shannon notched a brace against former club NEWI Cefn Druids to give Welshpool a 2-0 win.

Saturday saw League leaders TNS maintain their two-point lead over second-place Caersws after the top of the table clash at The Recreation Ground ended goalless.

Defending Champions Rhyl took full advantage of the stalemate to go level on points with Caersws with a 1-0 home win over mid-Wales side Aberystwyth, captain Timmy Edwards getting the only goal of the game 10 minutes from time.

Promoted side Airbus UK, struggling in the Premier so far, moved off the foot of the table on goal difference defeating fellow strugglers Port Talbot 3-1, despite going a goal down within the opening minute.

However, goals from Kevin Leach, Richard Smart and Simon Andrews in the second half secured the much needed three points.

Afan Lido finally won a home league match this season with a Sascha Walters penalty against Caernarfon Town.

Carmarthen Town and Cwmbrân shared the points after a 1-1 draw, while Newtown secured their first win in seven games with a 2-0 victory at Porthmadog.
