HUGH CLARKE Picks Up Player Award

Last updated : 20 February 2005 By Gary Fish

Hugh has played an important part in manager Mickey Evans’ team as the mid-Wales side aim to topple the current "big two" in the Welsh Premier.

The former Newtown player has formed a fantastic partnership with Colin Reynolds at the back, with manyconsistent performances attracting several managers and ultimately their votes for the first award of the year.

Hugh began his Welsh Premier career with mid-Wales side Caersws in the League’s first season and has turned out 306 appearances so far, of which 269 of them have been with his present club.
