Bellamy Will Turn Up for Pre-Season Training

Newcastle United and Wales striker Craig Bellamy will be reporiting to Newcastle for pre-season training on July 4th.

Despite having publically fallen out with Newcastle boss Graeme Souness and Chairman Freddy Shepherd, Bellmay was voted the Magpies' Player of the Year last season, and while an impressive loan spell at Celtic from February until the end of the season does not seem to have secured a permanent move away from the north-east, Bellamy will return to the club.

Freddy Shepherd earlier this week hinted that something could be worked out with Bellamy, however, Souness would have the final say, so it would seem unlikely that Bellamy would play unless he can secure a move away from St James' Park.

Bellamy has said that he will report for pre-season training on July 4th, and will make himself available for selection, unless he recieves instructions not to.

Newcastle are currently short of attacking options following Patrick Kluivert's release at the end of the season, leaving them with just Alan Shearer and Shola Ameobi.
