Blackburn's White Rock Visit Confirmed

Swansea City have confirmed that they will play Balckburn Rovers at the White Rock stadium on July 30.

Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins confirmed that contracts for the Blackburn game will be signed over the next few days.

"I'm very pleased to get that finalised and it's something we'll be looking forward to," Jenkins said.

"It will be great to start the new season with these matches.

"With Fulham you've got Chris Coleman in charge and with Blackburn there's Mark Hughes and Mark Bowen who have all got links with the area."

The Blackburn game comes a week after Swansea entertain Fulham in what will be the opening game at the new stadium at Morfa.
