Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce has confirmed he is still keen to bring Newcastle United and Wales striker Craig Bellamy to St Andrews.
Bruce Still Keen on Bellamy
The Midlands side failed to convince the Wales international to join them in January, after having a £6 million offer accepted by The Magpies, with Bellamy instead moving on loan to Celtic in February where he has been a hit with the club's fans.
Celtic are keen to keep the 25-year old at Parkhead if they can meet the asking price by Newcastle.
Birmingham's Midlands rivals Aston Villa are also keen to secure the services of Newcastle United's player of the year, and with Bellamy having played his last game during his loan spell in Scotland, Villa boss David O' Leary is desperate to meet with Bellars first to negotiate terms.

The only other side interested side in Bellamy is his former Wales coach's Blackburn Rovers, with Bellamy rumoured to be keen to be reunited with Mark Hughes at Ewood Park.
Birmingham, who appeared to be in the driving seat first time round in signing the former Coventry City foward, have asked to be kept informed of the situation with Bruce still confident he could persuade Bellamy to move to St Andrews.
Bruce said: "Craig has to decide what he wants to do first and then hopefully we will get a chance to speak to him and put a case for him joining Birmingham City.
"We are still very much looking at the Bellamy situation and he is high on our list.
"We have asked to be kept informed of developments."
