Cardiff Set for Another Windfall

Championship side Cardiff City will pick up a much needed pay cheque following West Brom's final day Premiership survival.

The Bluebirds sold Robert Earnshaw to the Baggies for £3m in August 2004, with the south Wales club getting a further £620,000 if the Midlands side stayed up.

With Cardiff short of a regular goalscorer this season, the money from Earnshaw's deal and that from a similar deal with Wigan Athletic for Graeme Kavanagh, will be well received by manager Lennie Lawrence.
