Celebration for Earnshaw as West Brom Survive Drop

West Bromwich Albion and Wales striker Rob Earnshaw has cause to celebrate as his club side survived the Premiership drop with a 2-0 win over Portsmouth at The Hawthorns.

Earnshaw started the last game of the season for the baggies, looking to add to his goal tally, as Bryan Robson's side looked to be the side out of a possible four that stayed in the Premiership.

Although Earnshaw was not on the scoresheet, it will be comforting for the former Cardiff City player that his move to the West Midlands was not a bad decision.

Earnshaw, highly rated by several managers, including Arsenal's Arsène Wenger, could find himself elsewhere next season, with numerous Premiership sides looking to bolster their attacks.
