Chris Coleman's Fulham have rejected a request from Swansea City to take midfielder Darren Pratley on loan next season.

Coleman believes that the 20-year old, who impressed during a spell with Brentford last term, can play a part in Fulham's senior side.

Swansea boss Kenny Jackett said: "I enquired about Pratley - a strong, box-to-box midfielder - but that one is a no-go at the moment.

"But there are a couple of others I've enquired about."

Pratley could play against Jackett's side on July 23 when Coleman brings his Fulham side to Swansea for the first game in the new stadium at Morfa, while Jackett will be hoping he can persuade Coleman to agree to the loan deal.
