Wrexham assistant manager Kevin Russell says they must start turning draws into victories if they are to avoid relegation.
Wrexham are currently 23rd in League One, six points away from safety, and are on a great run of form that has seen them lose only two of their last nine games, albeit, with one win in that sequence.
"We're on a good run and if we can turn those draws into wins I can't see no reason why we can't get into a decent position in the league."
Wrexham head to fifth-place
Wrexham will be without defender Craig Morgan who is suspended, while keeper Andy Dibble still misses out despite resuming full training with Ben Foster continuing in goal.
Speaking about the prospect of Hartlepool Russell added: "They've spent a lot of money and are a very well run club.
"They're a decent outfit and we know it's going to be a hard game.
"But our away form's been very good this season and I'm sure the lads will give it their all and put in a fine performance."
