Everton have made Newcastle United's Craig Bellamy their top transfer priority as they look to further strengthen their team ahead of their first Champions League campaign.
It is understood that the 25-year old heads a list of Everton attacking targets, which is rumoured to include Spurs' Robbie Keane and
Bellamy has been on loan at Scottish Premier League side Celtic since February after falling out with Newcastle boss Graeme Souness and chairman Freddy Shepherd.
Everton are keen to add more world class players to their side after signing Simon Davies from Spurs, although the transfer of Mikael Forssell was cancelled and the club lost out to Newcastle in their bid to snap up Scott Parker.
Bellamy's wages are around £45,000-a-week however Moyes hopes that Bellamy will be attracted by the prospect of Champions League football at
Shepherd has revealed that Celtic have not yet made a move to sign Bellamy, despite the forward impressing at Parkhead.
Aston Villa, Blackburn Rovers and Birmingham City have also been linked with a move for the former Coventry City striker.
