Celtic striker John Hartson has revealed he wants to end his career at home-town club Swansea.

The SPL top goalscorer said: "I'd love to go back. I can remember standing and watching on the terraces when I grew up as a boy.

"But I wouldn't just want to go to pick up money, get a round of applause for a few games then fizzle out. I'd want to be able to achieve things at the club."

Wales
international, Hartson says he expects to finish playing in around five year’s time, so could leave Celtic within the next two years.

After a dice with relegation to the Football conference just a couple years ago Swansea are on the up - winning promotion to League One, and preparing to move to a state-of-the-art 20,000 capacity stadium in Morfa.
