Iriekpen to Make Championship Move?

Swansea City could lose out-of-contract defender Izzy Iriekpen as Championship sides Stoke, Leicester and Plymouth Argyle all look to sign the 23-year old.

Iriekpen is keen to remain with the Jacks however, and is in talks with Kenny Jackett over a new deal, with Swansea playing League One football.

However, the lure of more money and a higher level of football in the Championship - just one step away from many players' dream of playing in the Premiership, still regarded as the best league in the world – could be the deciding factor in Iriekpen leaving south Wales.
