Swansea City manager Kenny Jackett is set to sign a two-year contract extension to stay at the club until 2008.

Jackett guided the south Wales side into League One on the last day of the season and Swansea bosses were keen to offer the former QPR and Watford assistant an extension to his current deal.

"I sat down with the chairman last week and we'll formalise everything soon," Jackett said.

"I'm away on a course next week completing my UEFA Pro licence, but hopefully it will be done soon."
