Kavanagh Back at Cardiff

Wigan midfielder Graham Kavanagh will return to Ninian Park on Saturday just a month after he was sold to help pay off debts and save the south Wales club from administration.

"He's been looking forward to it - a couple of the lads have sent him a few texts winding him up," current captain Danny Gabbidon said.

"Obviously we'd prefer him to be playing on our team, but we're looking forward to giving him a few kicks!"

Gabbidon took over the captaincy following the shock departure of Kavanagh to promotion chasing Wigan.
