Wrexham and Wales U-21 defender Craig Morgan says he will hold talks with boss Denis Smith when he returns from John Toshack's Wales summer training camp in San Sebastian early this week.

The 19-year-old is out of contract in the summer and is unhappy with the new deal offered by Smith and is a target for MK Dons and Swansea City, however, should they sign Morgan, they will be required to pay compensation to the club because of his age or face a transfer tribunal.

Morgan told a local paper: "Wrexham have been a great club for me.

"I understand their financial problems, but I'm not happy with my offer.

"Hopefully Denis can come up with a bit more money, but other clubs are showing an interest, there's lots to weigh up."

Morgan has been with the club since the age of 9, making his senior debut aged just 16 and is now an important part of the first team.
