The Football League has maintained it has not set any deadline for Wrexham to give guarantees they can fulfil their League Two fixtures for next season.
The club, still in administration, was originally believed to have until the meeting of club chairmen to guarantee they could honour next season's fixtures, however, it seems now that this is untrue.
Property developer Alex Hamilton, still unhappy with offers for the club, has given them notice to quit their Racecourse Ground home by 21 July.
Speaking today a spokesman for the Football League said: "We have not set any deadlines and do not want to panic people.
"We will continue talking to the administrator and the administrator will continue to talk with parties interested in taking over the club."
Wrexham were relegated from League One on Tuesday night following a 2-1 defeat to Brentford.
