No Developments in Wrexham Takeover

Neville Dickens, the man behind the latest bid to save Wrexham FC, has revealed that no developments have been made in his bid to buy the club.

Dickens, who owns several car dealerships, wants to buy the club which is adjacent to one of his dealerships in Wrexham.

Speaking today Dickens said: “Nothing has changed, I’ve left a number of messages for Alex Hamilton but I’m just waiting for a response from him.”

Following the rejection by Hamilton of his bid last week, Dickens has called on fresh backers to join his bid to save the club, with the former Wrexham Director hoping to have something together within the next two weeks.

Dickens added: “I’m hopeful Mr Hamilton will look kindly on our bid.”
