Promotion Hopes Still Alive

Speaking after his side’s disappointed bore-draw with Grimsby Town and despite not winning a game in four league matches, Swansea manager Kenny Jackett has insisted their promotion hopes are still very much alive.
"I'm disappointed with not winning the last few games, but I'm certainly not worried," he said after the 0-0 draw at home to struggling Grimsby Town.
"We didn't get the rub of the green against Grimsby.
"We had all the possession in the second half but the goal didn't come - but they will soon."
As the run into the season-end arrives it looks like the wheels are coming off the Swansea promotion wagon at a crucial stage as their rivals catch them up rapidly.
Following Tuesday’s defeat at Darlington, Swansea have no failed to win a game in five and face Scunthorpe at the weekend, a game they must win to get their promotion campaign back on reasonable track.
