QPR want Langley Back

QPR manager Ian Holloway says he would like to take Cardiff midfielder Richard Langley back to London if the player will take a pay cut.

Langley joined Cardiff in 2003 in a move which doubled his salary, however, Cardiff, in serious financial difficulty could be happy to part with him as they look to slash their wage bill.

Holloway said: "Cardiff are paying him double what we were and I can't meet those wages,"

"I can understand why some Cardiff fans don't like Richard but you have to give him a chance. He's a terrific player."

With a wage bill of £750,000 a month, an offer for a player would probably be welcomed by Cardiff boss Lennie Lawrence.
