Swansea End Interest in Akinfenwa

SwanseaMAD are reporting that Swansea has officially ended their interest in Torquay's Adebayo Akinfenwa after learning that Torquay would be entitled to some form of transfer fee due to the player's age.

Swansea would either have to pay a fee up front, or be forced to a tranfer tribunal, where an amount would be decided and it seems Swansea
boss Kenny Jackett does not want to pay anything for the former Barry Town striker.

''The list of free players came out and, having seen his name, I made an enquiry about Adebayo Akinfenwa", Jackett told the Evening Post.

"Had he been on a free I would have been interested, but it's going to need a fee or a transfer tribunal so that one has died a death".
