Wrexham boss Denis Smith will be without captain Darren Ferguson from the centre of midfield as he begins a two-game suspension.

Smith is also without giant defender Dennis Lawrence who is out with a foot injury, however, goalkeeper Andy Dibble, who has been out injured since January is fully fit again and expected to return to the subs bench while on-loan keeper Ben Foster continues in goal.

Wrexham’s opponents this weekend, Swindon Town, have an average record at home over their last 6 matches, winning 3 and losing 2 with a -1 goal difference in that time as they conceded 9 goals on route to their 10-point haul.

Wrexham meanwhile have continued a decent run of form away this season, picking up 4 wins and a draw in the last 6 games, which included an eventful win at Hartlepool. Consequently, 20 goals have been scored, and 3 goals against.

Swindon Town's 53 points from 37 games sees them lie inside the top half of the table, in 9th position. Wrexham are stuck down in the relegation zone of Coca-Cola League One with a return of just 36 points from their 37 games thus far.
