Swansea City's Lee Trundle has been named player of the year in League Two.

The 29-year-old former Wrexham striker scored 22 goals as the Jacks won promotion, earning him the award ahead of Leyton Orient's Lee Steele and Yeovil's Phil Jevons.

"Lee's a great entertainer and fans love the tricks he produces in games," said Chris Kamara, chairman of the panel which chose the nominees.

"But he's a talented all-round player who has shown over the course of this season what a great finisher he is."

Trundle will be keen to impress next season to prove that he is capable of playing at a higher level.
