LDV Vans Trophy winners Wrexham will be honoured by the town’s council with a Civic Reception at the Guildhall on Saturday May 14 in recognition of winning the trophy despite all the problems surrounding the club this season.
The team will be presented to supporters on the balcony of the Guildhall before moving inside to a meal with the Mayor and council members.
The players will then move on to
Wrexham defeated League Two promotion chasing Southend 2-0 at the Millennium Stadium last month in front of 36,000 people, some 20,000 of which were supporting Wrexham.
