Welsh Cup 2004/5 Fourth Round

UWIC 1-4 Haverfordwest County
Barry Town 2-5 Afan Lido
TNS 2-1 Bangor
Halkyn United 0-4 Caersws
Rhyl 4-0 Llangefni
Welshpool 1-2 Bala Town
Aberystwyth 3-2 Caernarfon

Scott Ruscoe's last minute goal gave last year's beaten finalists TNS a 2-1 win at Bangor City in the major tie of this year's fourth round.

Holders Rhyl had a confortable 4-0 win over Anglesey-based Llangefni courtesy of a Lee Hunt hat-trick.

UWIC also conceded four goals as Haverfordwest County's Tim Hicks also bagged a hat-trick in Cardiff.

Mid Wales side Aberystwyth needed an injury-time winner from Gari Lewis to overcome a stubborn Caernarfon as both sides battled to find a winner.

Barry Town, once dominant in the Welsh Cup and WPL, went out to a 5-2 home defeat against Premier League side Afan Lido.

Bala Town were the lowest placed team to win as they defeated Welshpool of the Welsh Premier 2-1 to set up an away tie with Rhyl.

Another Cymru Alliance side, Halkyn United, were demolished 4-0 by an unforgiving  Caersws team chasing down Premier League leaders TNS.

Meanwhile, in south Wales Nicky Burke's penalty was enough to give Carmarthen Town a 1-0 home win over Cwmbran.
