Freddie Ljungberg has declared himself fit for the FA Cup Final in Cardiff on May 21.

Ljungberg made his comeback from a hip injury in the 2-1 defeat against Birmingham on Sunday.

The 28-year-old midfielder said: "I think I will be available and I definitely hope so. We will have to see how it reacts in training.

"It is still a bit swollen and it feels like a big bruise but it felt good in the game - I can play with it.

"To be honest I had only trained twice with the team before the game and it's important to play because you can get into the tempo, it is just not the same as in training," added Ljungberg.

"I got a bit out of breath in the first half but then I got going again. I did not want to overdo it so I came off after 65 or 70 minutes but overall it was fine."

Ljungberg picked up the injury in Arsenal's FA Cup semi-final win over Blackburn in Cardiff.
