Bellamy, on loan from Newcastle United, scored five goals for Celtic last month, including a hat-trick against Dundee United, as he helped Celtic return to the top of the Bank of Scotland Premier League.
Celtic hope to sign Bellamy on a permanent deal, however, that depends on them qualifying for the Group Stages of the Champions League to be able to afford the £4m+ transfer fee the Welshman.
Speaking about the award, Bellamy told the press:
“I'm delighted to receive the award, especially as it is my first full month of Scottish football.
"It is great receiving an award, but obviously it is as much down to the players I play with as anything else."
