Mr Allen was a former Cardiff City man, playing a major role in their promotion-winning team of 1946/47.
He also went on to win two caps for Wales, while also playing for Reading and Coventry before ending his playing career with former Welsh Premier League giants Barry Town.
His funeral is scheduled to be held at Tonyrefail Cemetary on Monday July 25 at 1pm.
