Wales came from behind in Teplice courtesy of an own goal and it looked like a point could have been earned. That hope faded in the 90th minute when the lads failed to clear the danger in the box the Czech sub, Lafata, scored his and his country's second to take all three points for the home side.
All three goals came in the last 15 mins. Lafata heded the first for the Czech's after he appeared to be in an offside position. David Cotterill's cross was turned into his own net by Jiranek in the 85th minute but Welsh joy turned to despair when Lafata hooked home as the 90 minute mark approached.
