Delaney: Best Team Won

The Wales defender, who was forced into playing in an emergency centre-back role after the late withdrawal of Andy Mlville from the side, admitted that the best team won on the day.

"We didn't have bad luck or anything like that, we were beaten by a better team," the Aston Villa defender told BBC Wales.

"It was disruptive losing Melville before the start, but we're not blaming that.

"We've got to win on Wednesday or we're out, but we're at the Millennium Stadium and that is going to help."
