"This was an excellent performance, we were under the cosh for a long time in the second half against a very strong Estonia side.
"But we held on and I am delighted to have finally won an away game under my management.
"We knew this would be a hard march so it justified our decision to use players who were already in the senior squad.
"It is crucial for the future of Welsh football that we get into the Uefa tournament next season.
"If we fail in this tie we will end up without competitive matches for a couple of seasons, and that would be a disaster."
