FA Cup Semi-Final Draw

Arsenal and Manchester United could meet again this season as they were kept apart in the draw for this year’s FA Cup Semi Finals, as drawn by Sir Trevor Brooking earlier today.

Ferguson’s Man Utd were rewarded with a tie against old foes Newcastle United while Arsenal will face Mark Hughes’ struggling Blackburn Rovers for a place in the final.

Both ties are expected to take place at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff on the weekend of April 16 and 17, however, there is noise of opposition to the semi-finals being held there by supporters groups over cost of getting there and devaluing the final.
