The FAW Trust has signed the biggest sponsorship deal in their 10-year history as they look to unearth the cream of Welsh soccer talent.
The three-year deal with the AVC group and 2Touch Sports is believed to be for worth six figures for the trust.
The scheme will not only help find the next generation of Welsh stars, it will also help players who fail to make it and are forced out of the game through injury.
Robbie O'Keefe, Director of 2touch Sports management, is understood to be delighted with the partnership.
"To become a footballer you've always had to have a skill, ability and confidence," said O'Keefe.
"But nowadays you need more than this because you need an education.
"It's wonderful to see grassroots football in Wales get such a boost through this sponsorship deal.
"What excites me is knowing this scheme is not just about educating players to become professional players."
