Dragons boss Denis Smith insists that the 18-year-old striker will have to impress at the Racecourse to earn a contract.
Smith said: "People get excited about players from Arsenal, but I'm only interested in what they do on the pitch.
"He's just been released by Arsenal and Liam Brady recommended him to me. I've seen him in training and he looks quick, but we'll see how things go."
