Giggs Could Feature in Cup Semi

Wales captain Ryan Giggs feels he has a slim chance of being fit for Manchester United's FA Cup semi-final with Newcastle United at the Millennium Stadium on Sunday.

The 31-year old winger has a hamstring injury which he picked up against Blackburn Rovers at the start of the month and Ferguson has rated him as extremely unlikely to play against Newcastle.

Giggs however, still believed he has a chance and has yet to give up hope of playing. Giggs has returned to training.

"If all goes to plan I will start training some time during the week," Giggs told MUTV earlier this week.

"If there are no setbacks we will see what happens but at this stage I honestly don't know."
