Sir Alex Ferguson is not hopeful about Gabriel Heinze's chances of being fit for the FA Cup final against Arsenal on May 21.
Heinze suffered ankle ligament damage in a fall during the win over
Speaking to a local newspaper Ferguson said: "There is no real change in Gabby's condition.
"He is continuing with his treatment and we are praying he will be OK, but it is not looking good."
He added: "There are 16 days to the final now and we have just got to hope that there is an improvement. However, to give him a chance he has to be back running next week."
"We will just have to wait and see the progress he makes, but it would be hard on him if he were to lose out."
