Jason Koumas
"The performance was OK but we were a bit sloppy at times and we could have scored six or seven goals," said Koumas.
"We scored the early goals we wanted but didn't follow it up with more.
"We're happy to take the three points though, and hopefully this will help our campaign get started again."
Ryan Giggs
'Second spot is still open in this group,' said Giggs. 'We still have two games in hand on the Republic of Ireland and we still have to play them at home.
'Win the two games in hand and we will be in a great position. We have the Czech Republic at home next and if we can beat them, things will look a lot clearer.'
'Our main priority was to make sure of a win even though, of course, we would have liked to have scored five or six,' said Giggs.
'We talked about winning this game early, we had the perfect start and I think it's fair to say that we did get a bit sloppy.
'We don't play opposition like this very often and it was strange to have to be so patient. It's now a case of gathering momentum for the rest of the campaign.'
