The home side frustrated the Welsh lads in the opening qualifying game.

"It's a point gained," said Flynn. "But I am disappointed with some of the performances.

"Some of the players didn't do themselves justice, didn't play as well as they can but that can happen.

"We created numerous chances and on any other given day, we could have come off winning 3-0 or 4-0."

He added: "Unfortunately for us, we just couldn't capitalise on our superiority, but in Europe, there's no easy game and there was the proof tonight.

"Luxembourg lacked any ambition going forward which made it very difficult for us because they basically played with 11 men behind the ball."

Flynn said Wales will be "more clinical" when the two sides meet again at Parc Y Scarlets on Tuesday.
