"I wasn't expecting all this this year. I'm proud and so are my parents obviously. I just want to build on it from here.
"I enjoyed every minute. It's a great feeling to have an assist on my debut.
"Thankfully the match was going alright for us and it wasn't too quick a pass so I got my chance to come on.
"It was exciting just warming up on side and I was just wishing I could get on. Thankfully I came on and I managed to set one up.
"It's been a new experience for me being around all the big players. It feels like a dream come true."
Lewin Nyatanga (on handing over the crown of Wales' youngest player)
'If you're good enough you're old enough and Gareth played well enough to show he should be in the side. On top of that he made the goal for Earnie.
'It's been a great week for team bonding and I think that will benefit the squad later on when we start to play competitive matches.
'Two wins will not do any harm for confidence either.
'It was nice to have been the youngest player to play for Wales but now I can concentrate on things that really matter like the development of my football.
'I think that's important.'
Goalscorer Robert Earnshaw
"It is a great feeling, but not a relief for me.
"I just want to play and the goals got us the win, and that is what it is all about. To be fair, I haven't started that many games under Tosh but I have been in for the last two and I got the goals, which I always do.
"Not having scored for 20 months for Wales did not play on my mind, I just go out and enjoy games without a care in the world so I never worry about not scoring."
