The Welsh youngsters brushed aside Northern Ireland in the friendly international at Glentoran FC.

Wales were ahead inside the first minute from Sam Vokes. Then Cardiff City's Joe Jacobson scored direct from a free kick before going on to set up two goals for Ched Evans.

Brian Flyn was delighted with his strikers

'The front two were excellent, they caused all sorts of problems and formed a fine partnership on their first game at this level.

'Sam is a total newcomer, he has burst onto the scene at Bournemouth at only 17, and he's doing well.

'We became aware about seven months ago that he had a Welsh grandfather.'
